on the banks of the charente and in the shadow of the chateau. this restaurant featured as back drop in the tv series james martin's french adventure. it is easy to see why, the location is fabulous, but then so is the food. famous for both its brioche and also fresh salmon.

as close to a pub experience as possible in this part of france. serving everything from finger food, sharing platters, salads, fish 'n' chips, and of course, the grill. just what you expect from a pub only better. that french twist perhaps?
